Our Story

Welcome to Lifetide, this is our story.

It all started with my grandfather.

When I was younger he was an obsessed hobbyist jeweller, he’d spend countless hours in his cluttered shed turning stones, minerals, and raw materials into beautifully unique masterpieces. 

I used to creep into his shed and stand beside him, mesmerized as he worked away with skill and precision, it was so intriguing to me.

One day he decided to start teaching me, over the course of 3 - 4 years he taught me everything I know. Although there was one thing he taught me that truly set his pieces apart…

He taught me that the best jewellery tells a story…

When he sadly passed away 3 years ago, I made myself a simple abstract (he was very abstract himself…) silver band ring with his initials engraved on it as a way to remember him and keep him close.

Friends, family, and colleagues would always notice it and ask about it. 

Soon I had people asking if I was capable of creating something similar so they could honour their loved one. 

Lifetide was born.

Today, Lifetide has grown more than I could ever imagine.

we outgrew the old cluttered shed and now we work with skilled artisans who share my same commitment to quality and meaning.

We specialise in creating one of a kind memorials pieces, anxiety preventing jewellery, and keepsakes that bring comfort in times of grief. 

We create Jewellery with a purpose behind it.
